February to the Beginning of March

Go Jazz! The first weekend of February Bret and I were lucky enough to go with my parents to the Jazz game. My parents had the Rice family Jazz tickets for the night and they invited Bret and I to go. They are great seats and we had so much fun! Thank you mom and dad for a great night we love you so much!

Valentines weekend was so much fun! It was so nice to have a special someone around on Valentines because in years past I usually hate Valentines because it was just a dumb holiday to remind myself that I was alone! Not anymore! I love that from here on out I will never go back! Love it! Bret had the whole weekend planned and wouldn't tell me about anything (totally mean) but really totally amazing! Friday night he surprised me and took me to the Monster Truck Rally (totally fun, the people were the best!). I had never been to something like this and it really was so much fun! It was way loud, but awesome to see these huge cars crush smaller cars and do all these crazy tricks. After the rally we got something to eat and rented a movie. Saturday morning I decorated Bret's room with 100 reasons why I love him so much! My sister, Kaci went with me and we had so much fun! Thanks Kac for going love you! That night Bret brought me flowers and took me to Market Street Grill, one of my favorite restaurants, and then to the Valentine's Day movie. It was so good and so much fun! Good job babe on the amazing weekend, I had so much fun and loved every minute of it! I love you so much and feel so lucky to have you!

The last two weeks of February I was lucky enough to tend my oldest brother Jeramy and his wife Kelley's cute kids while they were vacationing in Hawaii! It was so much fun! I love to play mom for a week, but it's also nice to know that their parents are coming back! We had so much fun scrap-booking, going shopping, doing the girls hair, watching movies, ordering pizza, going out to dinner and going to see The Tooth Fairy. I had so much fun and loved spending time with my cute nieces and nephew I love them all so much! Thanks Jer and Kel for letting me tend!

Happy Birthday to me! My birthday is on February 29 so technically I didn't have a birthday this year, but I celebrated it anyway! My mom was nice enough to give me a break from tending so Bret could take me out for my pretend birthday. It was so much fun to have not only a boyfriend, but fiance on a birthday and it is an understatement to say that he spoiled me. We first went to dinner up in Park City at this way nice restaurant, Zoom. It was so good and so much fun to go somewhere nice! At the end of dinner the waitress brought out this yummy cookie ice cream dessert with candles it was so much fun thank you Bret. After dinner I had to get back to the kids so we went back to my brothers house to relieve my dad from his tending duties! Bret had set up all these amazing gifts and had rapped them all by himself. All that he gave me was seriously amazing! I feel so lucky to have a man like him and he seriously went above and beyond! I love Bret so much and he seriously did such a great job! Thank you honey!!! The next morning my brother and his wife got home and my mom had breakfast waiting for me when I got home. Such a great birthday, thank you everyone!

My amazing gifts from my parents, like a wedding is not enough!

After two weekends of Tending Jer and Kels kids you would think I had enough! You guessed wrong because the next weekend I had the opportunity to tend my other brother, Zach and his wife, Jenny's three girls, Marissa, Jillian and Scarlette. They are the cutest little girls and were so much fun to hang out with! I love them so much and loved spending the weekend with them while their parents were in Hawaii! We had so much fun watching home videos, shopping, watching Coraline and playing marbles. I love them so much and thank you to Jean and Zach for letting me tend your cute girls.
Scarlette looks so hilarious in this picture, I love it!

St. George and Vegas

The weekend before we all had to go back to school Bret's friend Todd Allen and his wife Christine invited us and Nick and Kaysi Fox to go down to his parents 2nd home in St. George for the weekend. Bret and I drove down with Todd and Christine and left on Friday night. The drive down was a blast, we basically laughed the whole drive! We finally arrived and the Allen's house was beautiful. After talking to Todd's parents, Bret and Cindy we decided to go get in the hot tub. Not only was the house beautiful the backyard was amazing all equip with a pool, sports court and fire pit. After hot tubbing all of us were pretty beat (oh boy!!) so we all decided to call it a night. And yes Bret and I did sleep in separate rooms because I know that all of you were worried:)! We were all talking before heading to bed and I don't know if it was because of the hot or what, but I was getting so light headed and the whole time talking to Todd and Christine I probably looked so weird because I seriously was about to pass out! The next day Cindy took us girls to get pedicures and the boys went golfing with Bret Allen. It was so nice of Bret and Cindy to do this for us because we had such a great time. Bret and Cindy are such fun parents to hang out with and both of us had so much fun spending time with both of them. Later that day we decided to go to Vegas! We went to The Cheesecake Factory, where Bret hated the waiter! After dinner we walked around for a little bit then went to the Stratosphere to ride on the "BigShot" on top of the building. I was so scared I didn't want to do it, but I had promised Bret the next time we were in Vegas that I would ride it. As we were going up I was trying not to hyperventilate! Getting on to the ride my heart felt like it was going to hop out of my chest, we were already so high and the ride was about to shoot us higher! As we were sitting there all buckled in all I could think about was why I decided to do this, then before I knew it BLAST OFF and into the sky we flew! It was so high and I was freaking out. When we reached the top my stomach and breath felt like it stayed there and I could not breath! The ride finally came to a stop and I had to admit that it was actually a lot of fun! When we got down to view pictures that were taken at blast off they were hilarious! Bret was basically normal his mouth open a little, my eyes were closed, but my mouth was open so wide. Todd looked like he had just seen a ghost and right next to Todd was this Asian kid. His face was the best, it was so good that it's hard to explain! We almost bought the picture because how funny it was! After the thrill of the night we all decided to head back because Bret's other friend Nick and his wife Kaysi were waiting at Todd's house. That night we all played Time's Up with Bret and Cindy. The next morning we just hung out and had some R and R before heading back and starting school. To cap off an amazing trip Bret and I drove home with Nick and Kaysi. We had so much fun, Bret has this app on his iphone that is a voice recorder that changes your voice. Kaysi's voice was totally funny we were dying! We had so much fun thank you Bret and Cindy and Todd and Christine for inviting us to go!

Welcoming 2010

2010 got off to a great start! Bret and I spent New Year's Eve with his friends at Nick and Kaysi's house and had a blast! Kaysi is an amazing event planner and had everything decorated so well. We had so much fun talking, eating, looking through funny books and laughing together. It was great to watch the ball drop and bring in the New Year with Bret! Thank you Nick and Kaysi we had a great time! New Year's day we had breakfast with Bret's family, which was so good and fun to spend time with them. After breakfast we went to my families New Year's day party. We had soup, breadsticks and lots of yummy treats! Watched football, played Bingo and watched the 2009 video that I had put together for my family. It was such a fun day with both of our families and such a great New Year's! I am so excited for this New Year and all it will bring, so welcome 2010!!!
